Supporting the AWARE Foundation's effort in marine conservation

Hello, I'm a scuba diving instructor in Nusa Lembongan, Bali. 
I'm raising funds to support PADI AWARE Foundation's incredible efforts in marine conservation.

Since 1992 with the help of supporters like you, they have helped to secure protection for 104 species of shark and ray, funded over 200 grantees across the Blueprint for Ocean Action and removed more than 2.5 million pieces of debris from the ocean floor.

Every dollar you contribute brings us one step closer to preserving the ocean we care passionately about and achieve the vision of balance between humanity and the ocean.

Dive Against Debris with DM Candidates at Karang Sari

On February 4th, 2025, I organized a dedicated #DiveAgainstDebris survey at Karang Sari with four Divemaster Candidates (DMCs). This site is particularly vulnerable to land-based pollution, frequently accumulating household waste following heavy rainfall. During our mission, we successfully removed a significant amount of marine debris, including plastic bags, discarded diapers, sanitary products, and abandoned fishing lines.

Adopt the Blue at Mangrove Point, Nusa Lembongan, Bali- Survey on corals and Clean debris

I am proud to announce that I have officially adopted Mangrove Point in Nusa Lembongan through PADI AWARE’s #AdoptThe Blue initiative.

Mangrove Point is a vibrant sanctuary where the island’s vital mangrove forests meet the crystal-clear currents of the Ceningan Channel. To ensure this delicate ecosystem thrives, I have committed to:

  • Regular Monitoring: Conducting ongoing surveys to track coral health and growth.

  • Marine Debris Removal: Performing consistent underwater cleanups to keep the reef plastic-free.

  • Biodiversity Advocacy: Documenting the incredible marine life that calls this site home to support global conservation data.

Our oceans need more than just admirers; they need guardians. I look forward to sharing my findings and playing a part in preserving the blue heart of Bali.
