help PADI AWARE help ocean heroes.
PADI AWARE Foundation has 100 days to raise $100,000 to double the number of grantees that will receive funding for their ocean-saving initiatives. Every donation, big or small, helps us reach our target. Please join me in driving impact where it's needed most.
I’ve been passionate with scuba diving since I got my certification at 10 years old. There’s something so peaceful about being underwater, alone with my thoughts, surrounded by the incredible, quiet world of the ocean. But over the years, it’s been heartbreaking to see how much damage is being done to our oceans—dead coral, trash everywhere, and marine life struggling to survive. That’s why I support the PADI AWARE Foundation.
PADI AWARE does amazing work to protect the ocean, like cleaning up marine debris with your Dive Against Debris program, helping restore coral reefs, and protecting vulnerable species like sharks and rays. I love that they are also fighting climate change by supporting things like seagrass restoration and creating marine protected areas to preserve more of the ocean.
When I was 11, I started working with PADI AWARE by creating fundraising events like a Lego Challenge, selling products on my Etsy store, and participating in local dive cleanups. It always feels great to actually make a difference. Now I’m 16, and I still want to be part of the solution. I’m into robotics and engineering, and I am already working to use those skills to help with ocean cleanups and fight the effects of pollution and climate change.
My family only takes trips where we can dive, and it’s always amazing to visit places like the Komodo Islands where the reefs are alive and full of color.
