Saving Freshwater Quarries β»οΈ
Friends and everyone who cares about our freshwater bodies! π§π
My name is Natalya, and Iβm a PADI Instructor from RuDIVE diving center in Russia. Together with my team, I work on cleaning and preserving freshwater environments β quarries, rivers, and lakes. ππΏ We regularly carry out environmental actions in support of the international PADI AWARE foundation, raising awareness about pollution and showing that everyone can make a real difference.
Throughout our work, we have conducted more than 14 clean-up events and removed over 550 kg of trash from underwater. β»οΈ Our dives take place in challenging conditions: murky water, thick layers of silt, very low visibility, and in winter the temperature can drop to 0Β°C. βοΈπ€Ώ Despite this, we keep going because we see real results and understand how important it is to protect aquatic ecosystems. πβ¨
We now need your support to continue our mission. π We are organizing a fundraiser in support of PADI AWARE, so we can carry out more environmental clean-ups, promote ecological awareness, and help preserve freshwater ecosystems that suffer from pollution every day. π
Freshwater ecosystems are among the most vulnerable on our planet ππ§. Fish, amphibians, and other inhabitants of rivers, lakes, and quarries ππΈ face serious threats from pollution β»οΈ, habitat loss πΏ, and poaching π«.
Funds raised for freshwater animal protection programs will be used to:
β’ restore and clean water bodies π¦
β’ create shelters for rare species π π
β’ carry out rescue operations in drying or polluted areas π
β’ support educational and anti-poaching campaigns πβ
Together, we can protect these fragile ecosystems and keep our waters alive! ππ
If our mission resonates with you, please support us with a donation or help by sharing this information β even the smallest contribution helps keep our waters clean and alive. π¦π
Thank you to everyone who stands with us! ππ

Quarries are home to fish π
You can find crucian carp, roach, perch, pike, and tench here.
Even these waters can thrive if we keep them clean π
