๐ŸŒŠ Dive Against Debris: Join Us in Protecting Sepanggar Island!

We are launching a community-driven marine conservation project under the PADI AWARE Foundation to protect the fragile marine ecosystem around Sepanggar Island in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia.

Every year, ghost nets and discarded fishing gear silently destroy coral reefs and entangle marine life beneath the surface. As passionate divers and ocean lovers, we cannot stand by and do nothing.

๐Ÿคฟ Our mission:

  • Conduct regular Dive Against Debris cleanups

  • Remove abandoned and ghost fishing nets from the ocean

  • Document marine debris and report data to the PADI AWARE global database

  • Raise awareness among local communities and tourists

But we canโ€™t do it alone โ€” we need your help.

๐ŸŒฑ How you can support:

  • Donate to help us purchase essential gear (lift bags, gloves, mesh bags, etc.)

  • Sponsor cleanup dives or equipment for our volunteer divers

  • Share our mission to spread awareness

๐Ÿ’™ Every contribution goes directly toward cleaning our ocean and saving marine life.

Letโ€™s make a difference โ€” one dive at a time.
