Clean Waters of Mazury – Lakes Cleanup Project

Supporting the AWARE Foundation's effort in marine conservation

I’m raising funds to support PADI AWARE Foundation and my initiative, the Clean Waters of Mazury – Lake Cleanup Project, a national effort to protect and restore the health of Poland’s lakes.

From the crystal depths of Jezioro Hańcza to the vibrant Mazury region, including Śniardwy Lake and Jezioro Białe, these inland waters are vital training and recreation sites for divers — yet they are increasingly threatened by pollution and debris.

Together with local dive centers, volunteers, and environmental organizations, we’re taking action beneath the surface: removing waste, collecting data, and inspiring communities to protect freshwater ecosystems.

Every donation supports PADI AWARE’s global conservation work and helps us bring cleaner, healthier waters to the heart of Poland.

How You Can Help

Every donation helps us:
a. Fund cleanup dives across Mazury, Śniardwy, Hańcza, and other key inland lakes.
b. Collect and analyze debris data to support PADI AWARE’s global citizen science efforts.
c. Provide environmental education to local communities and dive students, building awareness and responsibility for freshwater conservation.
