“Saving the ocean, one coral, one turtle and one shark at a time,” is the motto of (TRACC) The Tropical Research and Conservation Centre, a PADI AWARE® Community Grant recipient.

The Ocean Torchbearer Awards recognizes PADI Members who are leaders in their communities, actively working toward a better balance between humanity and the ocean.

100 Days To Fund Grantees In Their Ocean-Saving Efforts

PADI AWARE Foundation has 100 days to raise $100,000 to double the number of grantees that will receive funding for their ocean-saving initiatives in the Mission Hub Community Grant Program. Every donation, big or small, helps us reach our target. Please join me in driving impact where it's needed most.

Supporting PADI AWARE through SCUBA certification cards!

Did you know that when you buy a PADI AWARE Certification Card, you’re supporting ocean conservation?

Simply just tell your SCUBA instructor you'd like the PADI AWARE Certification Card and the amount of your PADI AWARE donation and they can process your certification and you can get that beautiful photograph on your certification card!

For every certification card bought, USD $10 is donated towards funding the PADI AWARE Foundation’s mission to protect our oceans through local projects for a global impact. This means PADI AWARE Mission Hubs are able to:

  • Collect marine debris
  • Monitor coral reefs
  • Protect endangered species
  • Increase the number of marine protected areas
  • And reduce the carbon footprint of diving activities
